You’ve paid your dues: graduate school, internship, and maybe even working for a clinic or program as a counselor. With The Launch, you can take the next step and launch your dream of your own private practice. We hope you’ll take the leap!

• Getting Started Forms, including clinical templates, business management forms, and step-by-step instructions for getting all your logistics set-up and running smoothly.

• Business Mentoring for learning how to manage and run a profitable private practice.

• Marketing Tools & Strategies for connecting to the people you want to reach.

• Strategy for fulfilling the mandatory requirements towards full licensure.

• Clinical Training that include discounts on CEUs offerings, discussions that address modern times issues (anti-discrimination, anti-oppression, anti-stigma, anti-racist, and anti-ablest), and visiting clinical specialists.

• Optional - Office Space as an incubator for getting your private practice off the ground.

More Program Details

• Packages are for a six-month commitment. Pricing is listed for monthly charges.

• Supervision, Business Mentoring and Office Space is provided by Carol Missel, LMCH.

• About the office space:

  • Located in the U District, just two blocks from Interstate 5, on the corner of 45th Ave.

  • Wall of windows on the third/top floor with a view of Mt. Rainer.

  • The room is spacious and contemporary with comfortable seating space for up to eight people.

  • There is a friendly greeter for guests during business hours, multiple waiting rooms/spaces, a printer, a full kitchen with microwave, refrigerator space, coffee, and friendly, professional neighbors.

• An intake process is required, and there is no guarantee of acceptance into the program. Limited spots are available, and there must be an alignment in therapy philosophy to be accepted into this program.

• What does (beta) imply?

  • This program is still being developed. Summer or Fall of 2020, we will offer a more comprehensive program. Right now, the working name is The Launch. The (beta) Launch is the opportunity for you to be able to experience much of what we are developing at a reduced rate and be a part of making this program even better with your feedback.

• Can anyone participate?

  • We welcome anyone who has completed their Graduate Degree in Counseling Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work to consider joining this program. That said, there has to be a sense of alignment between you and Carol, the program director & clinical supervisor, in order for this program to be beneficial for you and your clients.

• How do I find out more information?

  • The next step to gather more information is to fill out the form below so that we can reach out to you. You can get your questions answered, and we can share more details about how this program can support you in reaching your dreams as a therapist.

• Do I have to have my private practice at your office in Seattle?

  • The short answer is “no.” You are welcome to have an office anywhere in Washington State. The use of our office space for seeing clients is an optional benefit offered in some of the packages.
